
📅 November 22–24, 2024 | 📍 Miami, Florida — The Reading Glass Books proudly participated in the 2024 Miami Book Fair at Miami Dade College’s Wolfson Campus, exhibiting at Section E, Booths 315 and 317.
Founded in 1984, the Miami Book Fair has grown into one of the most respected literary gatherings in the United States, drawing more than 100,000 visitors to its vibrant Street Fair filled with signings, performances, workshops, and cultural programming.
In preparation for the event, RGB launched coordinated social media announcements, released the sixth Edition of The RGB Magazine featuring participating authors, distributed a press release to over 200 media outlets, and engaged newsletter subscribers through a targeted email campaign.
Throughout the three-day event, RGB showcased more than 100 titles across multiple genres, creating a dynamic and welcoming booth experience that invited readers to explore new voices and connect directly with authors .

Dorothy E.B. Fickenscher signed copies of “The Right to a Full Life,” while Dr. Sandy Islands engaged families with her Magical Butterfly Series and later highlighted “A Ripple in Time” and “Be the Light” during additional sessions.


Darran Crager connected with readers through “Guarding the Past,” “In a Warrior’s Quiver,” and “Journey of the Hidden,” offering adventurous narratives that sparked conversation and enthusiasm. Then, Maureen Anne Meehan brought humor and heart to the booth with signings of “Dying to Ski” and “60 Dates in Six Months,” drawing steady engagement from attendees.

Meanwhile, Dr. Albert H. Yurvati conducted multiple signings of “Wet My Hands” and “This to Me,” building meaningful dialogue with readers across all three days of the fair.

New releases added excitement to the weekend, including Nealie Miller’s “A Fresh Start,” Cheryl Schultz’s “Gates of Greenwich,” Janeé LaChele Allen’s “NAKED AND UNASHAMED” and “The End of the Beginning,” and Dr. Marshall S. Flam’s “Wordle Limericks: Flamericks.”
Authors unable to attend, including Kennar Chasny, Joanne Radke, and David Zini, were thoughtfully represented through featured displays of their works such as “Carlton: Down Sized,” “Why Is My House Always a Mess?,” “Jessica the Dreamer,” and “Circus Acts,” ensuring their presence remained visible and respected.
The Street Fair atmosphere blended open air browsing, cultural energy, and interactive literary engagement, reinforcing the fair’s reputation as a premier destination for readers and publishing professionals.
